A Star Child is the idea that a person can be incomplete and not self-aware, yet accept their imperfections, still direct their influence despite the arrangements of periodic and trending consequence.
It can also mean that imperfections can make admirable qualities stand out more clearly.
The Star Child reveals.
Verdict: Rhythmic delights brimming with percussive perfection. So where do the faults lie, if the release sets out to highlight the beauty within imperfections, well that, I have yet to find. It may be hidden within the warm layers of organically flowing melodies or the hypnoticically undulating beats, but as we are carried along by another immersive collection of sublime Techno and lose ourselves within the vibrant world that Jeff Mills has created, the answer is clear, all true art is naturally perfect.
