Sankey’s Ibiza resident and co-owner of Flow Musique alongside Davirus, Pepe Mateos has taken on a bold project to self-release a single for every month of the year in 2021. This series will show him exploring a wide range of styles and sounds, with each and every release influenced by the notion that, “the future is not at all clear. Everything that we thought had been established as fundamental is shaking.”
In the past, his music has been embraced by the likes of Richie Hawtin, Adam Beyer and Joseph Capriati, and he’s released music on labels including Toolroom, Circus Recordings and Time Has Changed. For his guest mix, Pepe has taken many of his own tracks and weaved them into an interesting and fulfilling journey.
