The Conjuring 2025 (Northern lights).
Festival of dark psychedelia.
Pealies Barn Northallerton.
15-18th Aug 2025

Welcome to the alternative…
The free spirited, free flowing, friendly and the flavoursome!
Not to be forgotten…
This is The Conjuring, a gathering of like minded folk in a unique setting that explores the alternative.
The first edition of the conjuring festival (Northern Lights) ran smoothly, so much so it swam under the radar of any music media. Set out as a DIY project between Jack (The Dirt and Leon the pig Farmer) and Richie (MRI/Lucifer Sams and Last Stop Sounds) this full-on DIY event brought together some of these two friends associates and known artists in the underground scene.
The line up, called Northern Lights due to its main focus on bands originating from the North of the UK, brought the sell-out crowd (yes, it sold out!) a mixture of the alternative and psychedelic that boasted a line up that included Deja Vega, Helicon, Dead Sea Apes, Mugstar, Pray for Mojo, 93 Million Miles From The Sun and an array of other local talent over a two-day period. All hailing from various northern towns and cities.
The first year’s setting was Fell Foot Wood, a stage built in a woodland at the foot of Lake Windermere, Cumbria. Camping was included and the punters were free to roam within this unique area as the sounds cascaded from the stage through this brilliant setting. Full on DIY ethos!

Step forward to The Conjuring 2025. A new dawn! What is occurring?
The pair have now got an appetite after selling out their first venture. Still remaining small, DIY, ethical and unique. But not set on a day and a half festival, the lads have stepped this event up to three nights. That is not all, the site has moved to hold 200 paying pilgrims to a new Northern Light’s location. The new event space sits across the Pennines from the first into North Yorkshire and is perfectly situated just off the A1.
Pealies Barn, Northallerton in N Yorks has been introduced to next year’s festival goers.
A converted 18th century barn quadrant with old farm land for camping this space is the perfect location for their venture to continue. An event space run by musicians for musicians that just needs a perfect line up.

And this is where next years conjuring becomes mind blowing.
The two have yet again pulled together an eclectic mix of the alternative underground and contemporary psych. With headliners that include Evil Blizzard and The Cult of Dom Keller. Quickly followed up with established artist such as Black Delta Movement, Amon Acid, Avalanche Party, Deviant Amps, and a guest appearance by Sicilian psych mainstay JUJU.
This is set up to be a spell binding weekend with acts that can all hold their own at their own town gigs. The Dirt, The Battery Farm, Hazels Maze, Deltanaut, The Dry Retch, Little Illusion Machine and Sonic Trip Project. Not to forget Pete Bassman of Spacemen 3.
There will be more added but The Conjuring coordinators say get a ticket quick as last years sold out and these names can easily fill a 200-cap venue.
Early bird tickets have sold out, but there is still a chance to grab tickets for this unparalleled experience of 3 nights camping and over 15 bands.
