Irish artist Cian Godfrey AKA Somebody’s Child made his long awaited return home to Dublin on the 3rd of March 2023. It was a night filled with great music from one of the freshest Irish voices of this day and age.

Support came from Italian-Irish band Big Sleep. Big Sleep are one of my favourite Irish Bands at the minute. Their sound is quite unique, with unique guitar parts and extremely catchy melodies. A clear stand out of this was their last track ‘Tutti Fruiti’ whose chorus was in my head long after the show.

Somebody’s child took the stage next and the show was electric from start to finish. The passion from Cian was easy to see and made it easy for the crowd to engage with the music. This was Somebody’s Child largest show today and Cian and his band made it clear that they meant business. Displaying fantastic musicianship throughout. Standout songs in the set included ‘Love That Sound’, Top Drawer Roamance’, ‘What I Said’ and ‘Jungle’.
