SXSW Sydney has arrived! The event runs from 15 until 22 October and boasts a dazzling array of cultural activities. It features more than 1 200 events and sessions and excitingly a range of talented musicians who will be appearing over the next few days.
Soaked Oats are from Dunedin and enthralled with the guitar-driven indie pop in a very intimate pub setting. Their last song was a very memorable cover of Dylan’s “Lay Lady Lay”.
Ekkstacy, is an emerging artist who has gained recognition for his emotionally raw and introspective tracks. Many of his songs delve into themes of mental health, loneliness, and existential struggles. He rocked the audience who had gathered on the Starship (an actual ship) tonight.
Flyana Boss hail from Detroit and Dallas. Bobbi LaNea and Folayan met at college and began their music collaboration, naming their group Flyana Boss (rhymes with Diana Ross.) The duo lived up to their reputation of being boss-ass bitches tonight.
