The Metro is sold out tonight as a passionate crowd awaits the Beaches who are known for their dynamic rock vibe. This Toronto-based band has bold, gritty sound, with Jordan Miller on lead vocals and bass guitar, sister Kylie Miller on lead guitar, Leandra Earl on keyboards and guitar, and Eliza Enman-McDaniel keeping the beat on drums.

They’ve been stirring up the indie rock scene since their formation, earning acclaim for their raw, energetic performances. The Beaches are touring in support of their album ‘Blame My Ex,’ which was released last year. The band, who have been together for over a decade experienced an explosion in popularity when a track from the new album ‘Blame Brett’ went viral on TikTok. The song is about the break up of the relationship between Jordan Miller and then boyfriend Brett Emmons, of The Glorious Sons, who in turn wrote a song about her, ‘Dream.’

As the Beaches tear through their setlist with fiery enthusiasm, they pause between songs to share anecdotes with the audience, creating an intimate atmosphere that feels more like a gathering of friends than a typical concert. Each story, whether about the quirks of touring or the inspirations behind their songs, draws laughter and cheers, deepening the connection between the band and their fans.
