Canyon Blu’s Sheffield set hints at a very bright future.

The Washington in Sheffield was alive with energy as Canyon Blue delivered an outstanding performance. Frontman Frankie Beetlestone already has a strong pedigree, having previously supported Tom Grennan on a UK Arena tour. This new 4-piece band showcases a wealth of talent from their past projects, creating a captivating and cohesive indie rock sound.

A strong set full of new original songs with an inventive cover of Talking Heads’ “Psycho Killer,” the band lit up the stage and by the end had the crowd cheering for more.

Canyon Blue have a new song called “Inevitable,” recorded live at Big Dog Studios in Sheffield. Potential fans can find that song and its live video on YouTube here Inevitable

With such a strong start, Canyon Blue’s future looks incredibly bright.

This performance was perhaps just a glimpse of what’s to come in 2026.
