Friday the 23rd of June the Sydney and Matilda Sheffield turned in to dreamland with the arrival of ‘LUCY DREAMS’
The trio from Vienna consisting of David Reiterer and Philipp Pruecki, bringing there electro pop world to Sheffield. Yes…….. I know I said a trio but this amazing show could not have gone a head without the third member ‘LUCY’
Lucy is a very intelligent electrical sphere and the hart of the band with her amazing lights and unique vocals on most of the songs. Lucy is the formidable force behind the band. For me this show was like David Bowie meets Daft Punk.
In a chat after the show, David revealed that he would like to bring the show back next year but bigger and better. Go and check these out on YouTube you will not be disappointed.
Giving their support on the night was ‘Blood Stained Reputation’ south Yorkshire’s hardest working rock band. Again, these are one to watch hopefully I will get to see these again soon.
Also making the trip over the Pennines was ‘Happy Athletic’ again another amazing band. Check out the bass player he was giving off some Wilko Johnson vibes with his stage presence.
