Powerhouse duo, Wha Cup, showed their hometown what they are made of at Snails in Palmerston North on Friday night for their first ever hometown show.
Supporting Wha Cup and kicking off the night was newly formed local band The Fire in Me, with their charismatic frontman showing Palmy what they are made of! These guys are certainly one to keep an eye on in the future.
Second up were local legends Skitz Hydro, a high energy 3 piece band with funky beats, powerful guitar riffs and humour filled banter, they know how to entertain a crowd and I could certainly see why they have a bit of a local fanclub.
Last up was headlining act Wha Cup who took to the stage and instantly owned it, with their strong soulful blueslike sound they demanded your full attention at all times. With an almost homely familiar feel to their music and 2 very talented musicians at the helm we were treated to something truly special.
