COMING atcha out of Stockholm, Marble Mammoth have an interesting thing goin’ on, mining in that space somewhere between harder edged psych and classic hard rock like Led Zep – with a line in big vocal uplift and dirty guitar solos.
They’ve just released their very first utterances of 2020 in the shape of the poppier but still leather-clad “Have The Sun Lick Your Mind”; have a listen below.
It’s their first release since their debut, self-titled five-tracker appeared back in 2017. Of course it was on marbled vinyl. “Marble Mammoth is in many ways defined by an endless search,” said singer Tobias Bergholm at the time.
These guys know a crisp piano progression and a foot-on-the-monitor chant crescendo can help get you where you wanna be.
