Just in time for Valentines day comes ‘Love Thing’, a new single from Rik Ducci & J-Dubble. Its the lead track from their upcoming collaborative album as ‘The Essence’, which drops on February 18th. Its more of a look back for the pair, as J-Dubble’s warm, approachable rhymes describe his affection for music, while Rik Ducci’s beats have something of the Guru about them.
It’s got this Al Green hook aobut it right at the beginning that jumps forward and back, but soaked in this unmistakable soul. As the guitar pops, J-Dubble works around it, his smooth flow never skipping a beat, as he demonstrates his skill with intricate wordplay and ambitious couplets.
