Los Angeles’s psych/surf rockers Allah-Las have just announced an Australian tour this December. Armed with songs from their upcoming album, the band will play seven shows around the country – from Brunswick Heads to Perth.
Allah-Las have alchemically melded surf rock washes with folk rock jangle and rock, cultivating a sound from the annals of California culture. Their latest album, ‘Zuma 85’, was crafted during the two years of downtime during the pandemic.
‘Zuma 85’ signals the start of a new era for Allah-Las and finds the band reinventing itself. The album will be released October 13 via the band’s own label, Calico Discos, in partnership with Innovative Leisure.
