Following their debut in 2023, Arkayla share the new single, ‘Lost In A Valentine’, taken from their upcoming debut EP.

Arkayla’s early success hasn’t been confined to the studio. Their live performances have been equally electrifying, with a notable appearance at Manchester’s Band on the Wall and a sell-out debut in London at the iconic Troubadour. The band also kicked off their summer with a high-octane performance at the Isle of Wight Festival, further establishing their reputation as a must-see act.

Now, the band is back with their newest single, ‘Lost In A Valentine,’ a track that encapsulates the youthful, nostalgic, yet sonically refreshing indie rock fire that has quickly become Arkayla’s signature. The song is a dynamic blend of glittering guitar riffs, evolving drum rhythms, and grooving bass lines, all meticulously crafted to create a vibrant musical experience. The track’s layered instrumentation is complemented by impassioned vocals, creating a soundscape that feels like a burst of fireworks—intense, bright, and impossible to ignore.

“The initial idea we had for Lost In A Valentine was a proper tender acoustic ballad,” Arkayla guitarist Fin comments. “We weren’t really sure where to go with it until we came up with the bassline, which instantly gave it that fiery energy you find across a lot of our music. It’s an ode to love, escapism and the self-loathing a lot of people feel about their hometowns.”

With each release, Arkayla proves they are more than just a fleeting name in the indie rock scene—they are a band on a trajectory toward something much bigger. ‘Lost In A Valentine’ is another strong entry in their growing catalog, a testament to their musical prowess and emotional depth.
