Jamie xx is set to make his long-awaited return to Australia, marking his first headline tour since 2015. The London-based musician, DJ, and producer will be hitting Australian shores in support of ‘In Waves,’ his much-anticipated new record dropping on September 20th via Young / Remote Control.

This tour sees Jamie xx performing at a series of uniquely intimate and eclectic venues, with dates including Melbourne’s PICA, the iconic Hotel Brunswick in Brunswick Heads, a coveted spot at Meredith Music Festival, and a special set at Sydney’s Carriageworks. It’s a homecoming of sorts, a rare chance to catch one of the most innovative voices in electronic music up close and personal.

‘In Waves,’ Jamie xx’s long-awaited follow-up to his acclaimed debut ‘In Colour,’ arrives nine years later with a potent mix of emotional swells and unpredictable energy, capturing the magic and chaos of an unforgettable night out. Spanning 12 tracks, the album features an impressive roster of collaborators, including Kelsey Lu, John Glacier, Panda Bear, Oona Doherty, and his The xx bandmates Romy and Oliver Sim.
