News: Avril Lavigne releases new single “I’m A Mess” featuring Yungblud

Today, eight-time GRAMMY® Award-nominated, multi-platinum singer, songwriter, designer, and philanthropist Avril Lavigne released her latest single “I’m A Mess (with YUNGBLUD)” via Travis Barker’s DTA Records. Listen to “I’m A Mess (with YUNGBLUD)” now HERE.

“I’m A Mess (with YUNGBLUD)” was written by Avril Lavigne, Travis Barker, John Feldmann and Dominic Harrison aka YUNGBLUD and was produced by Feldmann and Barker. Lavigne also released the official music video for the song today. Directed by P Tracy, it was filmed in both London and Los Angeles.

Avril recently wowed audiences at Las Vegas’s inaugural When We Were Young Festival, with Variety naming her set one of the festival’s highlights. Avril is currently on a world tour in support of her 2022 album Love Sux which heads to Japan next week and then hits Europe in 2023. Lavigne’s highly anticipated seventh studio album Love Sux debuted in the top 10 on Billboard’s Top 200 Chart, landing at #2 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart, Top Rock Albums Chart, and Top Alternative Albums Chart. The album, which marks Avril’s 6th Top 10 album on the Billboard Top 200 Chart, was released February 25th via Travis Barker’s DTA Records.
