Ben Böhmer has recently concluded a series of notable performances, including appearances at prominent festivals such as Sonar by Night and Electric Forest, and serving as direct support for ODESZA at The Gorge, BMO Stadium, and Madison Square Garden. He will conclude his North American tour with performances at Lollapalooza and Portola before embarking on an Australian tour this October, where he will perform in Brisbane, Sydney, and Melbourne.

To cap off this news, Böhmer and Lykke Li, two award-winning musicians who have carved out their own distinct lanes in music, have released a shimmering collaboration with ‘Hiding’, the second single on Böhmer’s studio album, ‘Bloom,’ out on 27 September. An immaculate meeting point between indie, pop, and electronica, ‘Hiding’ is a shimmering blend of Ben’s lush pads and triumphant melodies, with Lykke Li’s unmistakable vocals cascading over crisp breakbeats. The track feels like a sun-drenched daydream, where each element harmoniously coalesces into an irresistible groove, making it an undeniable standout in both artists’ repertoires.

Throughout her 20+-year career, Li has worked with artists such as Drake, U2, Skrillex, and Mark Ronson, who once called her the “high priestess of heartbreak and sadness”. She’s earned multiple Grammis in Sweden and is among the most heralded names in indie pop by the most trusted names in music, such as Billboard, Pitchfork, NME, and The Guardian. Her music has soundtracked films, including ‘Twilight;’ she has also acted in the crime thriller ‘Tommy’ and Terrence Malick’s ‘Song to Song.’

Ben Böhmer’s music and live performances have garnered widespread acclaim from both fans and tastemakers. In 2023, he achieved his biggest-ever North American live touring run, amassing 3.6 million monthly listeners on Spotify. His ‘Cercle’ set has skyrocketed past 32 million views, securing its place among the top 10 most-viewed electronic music sets on YouTube. Sharing festival stages with luminaries like Caribou, Four Tet, Bicep, Jamie xx, and Amelie Lens, Böhmer’s presence is undeniable.
