Beth McCarthy, UK pop-rock provocateur, is set to land in Australia this October, bringing her unapologetic swagger and internet-famous hits to the stage for the first time. With a tour named after her wildly relatable debut IDK How To Talk To Girls, McCarthy is hitting the East Coast with stops in Brisbane (The Brightside, 9 Oct), Melbourne (Howler, 12 Oct), and Sydney (Factory Theatre, 13 Oct), ready to make her mark on Aussie soil.

McCarthy’s ascent began in 2021, as she became one of those artists whose songs you find yourself singing without realizing how they wormed their way into your head—tracks like ‘She Gets The Flowers’ and ‘Omg Did She Call Him Baby?’ gaining traction through TikTok virality, sparking conversations on heartbreak and identity. A digital force, her online following has skyrocketed to 1.6 million, and has sold out shows across the UK and Europe.

But there’s more to McCarthy than viral hits. Her latest single, ‘Good Bi,’ has earned her a place in Instagram UK’s Next Generation Artists Programme and the ears of BBC Radio 1. Even Australia’s own G Flip has taken notice. McCarthy’s music is a bold exploration of identity, love, and the sometimes messy in-between—her lyrics a confession, her voice an unapologetic anthem for those who refuse to fit into tidy boxes.

Beth McCarthy 2024 Tour Dates
Wed 9 Oct – The Brightside (Brisbane)
Sat 12 Oct – Howler (Melbourne)
Sun 13 Oct – Factory Theatre (Sydney)
