Rising Rock, Funk, and Blues artist Brett Benowitz shines on the explosive new single ‘We Won’, produced by the renowned Jonathan DeRing.

‘We Won’ is a high-energy anthem that speaks to the resilience and triumph of good over evil. As Brett Benowitz explains, “This song is about how in the end, good always triumphs over evil. Our world is going through massive changes right now and there’s this general sense of dread that this is the end of humanity, but I believe we’ve already won and though the transition is painful, things will get better soon. We are waking up and taking our power back.”

Recorded at Jackpot Creative in El Segundo, ‘We Won’ is the product of a meticulous recording process that started with scratch guitar and vocals, followed by layers of drums, bass, and lead guitar, culminating in Brett’s dynamic guitar and vocal performances. The single showcases Brett’s unique sound—a blend of rock, funk, and blues that has been compared to The Red Hot Chili Peppers and The White Stripes.

Brett Benowitz has been making waves in the music scene with his previous releases receiving critical acclaim. His single ‘Just Hold On’ was highlighted by Music Crowns, and his recent release ‘Take Back Your Life’ garnered praise from Musikepool, Flex Music Blog, and Mystic Sons. Brett has headlined notable venues such as The Viper Room, Hotel Cafe, The Mint, Harvard and Stone, and Aviator Nation Dreamland, where he recently played a sold-out show.

In 2021, Brett won the Fender Player Plus Studio Session contest for LA, earning a 10-hour recording session at East West Studios and a feature on Fender’s Instagram. His bassist, Philip Chuah, brings experience from performing with artists like Charlie Puth and Stevie Wonder, adding a layer of expertise to Brett’s powerful performances.

Raised in a small town in Georgia, Brett Benowitz began his journey as a Rock, Funk, and Blues artist at the age of 13. After honing his skills in New York City, Brett moved to Los Angeles where he quickly gained recognition and continues to captivate audiences with his electrifying performances. With a relentless drive and passion for his craft, Brett is poised to make a significant impact on the LA music scene with his empowering music and dynamic stage presence.

Brett Benowitz’s new single “We Won” is now available on all major streaming platforms. Be sure to experience this powerful anthem and witness the rise of a dynamic new voice in rock, funk, and blues.
