Brighton-based multi-disciplinary music company Small Pond are delighted to reveal the final single release to be taken from their forthcoming Small Pond Presents: Emerging Vol. 4 compilation album, set for release on 15th November 2024 on a limited vinyl pressing and all good digital service providers.

The concluding offering comes from Brighton alt-rock trio Jar of Blind Flies with their new single ‘Hell Is An Ocean’ released on 1st November 2024.

Fresh from a recent support slot with The Wedding Present, Jar of Blind Flies take no prisoners with their chunky guitar tones and anthemic choruses. Touching on themes of isolation, nostalgia, and mental health struggles, they’ve forged an iron-clad bond with early listeners already through their undeniable brand of noisy alt-rock.

With their signature ethereal grunge-noise sound already turning heads on the south coast scene, you’d be remiss not to see the trio in full force at the Emerging Vol. 4 workshop and album launch party at Green Door Store, Brighton on 16th November, alongside tracklist-stablemates Could Be Ghosts and Epsom Salts, whose singles were released earlier this autumn.

Check out the track Hell Is An Ocean, below:

Building on the success of previous projects, Small Pond’s ‘Emerging’ artist development project once again gives 16 talented young acts (aged 16-25) from Brighton and the South of England the opportunity to rehearse, record, and release their music via Small Pond’s professional studio, label and PR set-up.

Several of the acts featured on previous compilations are now hotly tipped for future success including CLT DRP, Lambrini Girls, El Moono, Bridie Florence, Currls, City Dog and more.

Small Pond Presents: Emerging Vol. 4 is released 15th November 2024
