One of Australia’s most exciting new voices, Budjerah shares new EP Budjerah – Live At Rainbow Valley via Warner Music Australia.  The four-track collection is a wonderful re-interpretation of the 19-year-old artist’s debut self-titled EP, released in March. It not only highlights Budjerah at his powerful, soulful best but it also features stunning appearances from Ainslie Wills, JK-47, Matt Corby, Ngaiire and Stevan, each collaboration bringing something new and unique to the songs.

Budjerah’s music provides a joyful juxtaposition of elements that include R&B, soul and gospel; a soothing balm of beautiful hazy harmonies, reflective lyricism and full-bodied melodies. Produced and co-written by ARIA and J Award winning artist Matt Corby, ‘Budjerah – Live At Rainbow Valley’ was recorded at Corby’s Rainbow Valley studio in the Northern Rivers, NSW.

“I love live music, so the original idea for this project was just do a live version of Missing You and have Matt Corby be a feature. But I started to think more on it and I thought “Why don’t we do the whole EP and get a different person to feature on each song?’ I’ve been a fan of Ngaiire and Ainslie’s music for such a long time, and JK-47 and Stevan are killing it right now. It’s been an honour to collaborate, they’ve all brought something unique to each of the songs. I’m so excited to share it” – Budjerah.

Budjerah has been announced to support The Avalanches at their forthcoming sold-out Enmore Theatre show on Saturday 29 May. He also recently took the stage for a breathtaking performance at Music From The Home Front, alongside special guest appearances with Jack River, Lime Cordiale and Thelma Plum. In what looks set to be a massive year for the rising star, his self-titled debut EP was released earlier this year to widespread acclaim. It included the compelling debut single Missing You, which claimed the #1 position on the triple j airplay chart.

Budjerah will travel the nation for the first time with his mesmerising live show for performances in Adelaide, Fremantle, Melbourne, Sydney, Byron Bay, Gold Coast and Brisbane.

1. Missing You feat. Matt Corby
