News: Call Me Amour release new single and music video for ‘Blackout’

UK four-piece CALL ME AMOUR have dropped a new song ahead of their upcoming run with THEHARA and SNAYX. ‘BLACKOUT’ is the debut single off their forthcoming self-titled EP and their first piece of new music since 2020.

Watch the music video to ‘BLACKOUT’ below:

On the new single, frontman HR states:
“‘BLACKOUT’ is about losing yourself in the sufferings of life, whether it be addiction, heartache, loss or depression. Getting it out on a page or a song can be the best release.”

Shortly after that tour finishes, CALL ME AMOUR will then be main support to Pop Evil on their UK and European headline tour. “I’m thankful and humbled for the position I find myself in. It’s a blessing being able to come back to music and really have the freedom to be whoever we want to be, go wherever we want to go and hopefully inspire other peoples journey. We are here to stay and CALL ME AMOUR is getting injected in to your heads this year,” says HR.

Before CALL ME AMOUR, these musicians had their own journeys discovering themselves on the road and fuelling their addiction of the stage. Whether it be signing to Sony Music, playing the London Astoria, Brixton Academy, Download Festival, performing on Top of The Pops, performing in the west end musical ‘Wicked’, touring with bands like Limp Bizkit and Papa Roach, their individual achievements in previous outfits were impressive to say the least.

But in what seemed like a blink, their journeys were over, over by design, over because they all individually walked away due to money, politics or other factors. Years passed, new lives and self discovery built bridges to what was important. Long-standing friendships, admiration for each other’s abilities and the love for what music can do and be brought CALL ME AMOUR
together.
