News: DAMNAGE Shine On Self-Titled Debut Album

DAMNAGE release their self-titled debut album. The ten-track record introduces a sound that fuses punk, post-hardcore, garage rock, and alternative, delivering high-intensity, ferocious performances anchored in raw emotion and technical precision.

The Los Angeles-based trio formed by touring musicians Tim Stewart, Jonny Drummond, and Tosh Peterson capture a driving sense of intensity comparable to the likes of Queens Of The Stone Age, Turnstile and IDLES, whilst bringing a playful energy comparable to The Strokes.

The album opens with ‘Wasteland’, a blistering introduction that sets the tone for the rest of the project. Tracks like ‘Time to Kill’ bring a heavy, percussive drive, while ‘Never See It’ leans into melodic vulnerability without sacrificing the band’s core intensity.

DAMNAGE was formed on the road during tours with Lady Gaga, where the members discovered a shared creative vision. Guitarist and vocalist Tim Stewart has played with artists including Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Suicidal Tendencies. Bassist and vocalist Jonny Drummond, formerly a police officer in Georgia, transitioned into music full-time and has toured with The Weeknd, Wiz Khalifa, and Young Thug. Drummer Tosh Peterson, at just 24, has already performed with Machine Gun Kelly, Fall Out Boy, Bad Bunny, and Lady Gaga, and brings a high-powered rhythmic foundation to the band.

Together, the trio channels their experience performing on global stages — including the Super Bowl, Coachella, the Grammys, and the Oscars — into a debut that is both aggressive and intentional. On the release, DAMNAGE shares, “The album is a sonic punch to the gut and to the face. Giving you something to think about and to feel while you go for the wildest musical ride of your life. Hot and cold. Raw, feral and calculated.”

The release of DAMNAGE marks the group’s official launch, with tour dates expected to be announced soon.
