For Midlands-based singer-songwriter Dom Malin shares the delicate and heartfelt new single ‘Tapping Out’.

Building a warming soundscape of organic textures and warming melancholic vocals, the track builds a compelling folk-pop soundscape packing emotive delivery and beautiful guitar work under its elegant vocal melodies and silky production. Rich with warming piano, strummed acoustics and elegant lead guitar, the track dances with a buoyant, easy going aura under the heartfelt lead vocals.

Comparable to early Ben Howard, ‘Tapping Out’ runs an emotional journey through themes of perseverance and the relentless pursuit of meaning despite life’s struggles. Over the years, Malin has poured his heart and soul into music, extensively touring across the UK, Europe, and the USA, fostering a devoted global community, and pushing his craft to new heights. Though the path has been fraught with challenges, the rewards have been immeasurable, and his gratitude for the journey resonates throughout his music.

Speaking about the song’s significance, Malin shares, “This song is a personal journey through the emotional trek of running from the past while carrying the weight of failure. It’s about confronting loneliness, regret, and the ache of unfulfilled expectations. For me, this reflects both personal and professional struggles—failed relationships and the relentless effort to rebuild a life through music, chasing a dream that sometimes feels out of reach.”
