Auckland-based duo Elliot & Vincent have been announced as the support act for Pixies’ upcoming 2025 tour across Australia and New Zealand. The two-piece, made up of drummer/vocalist Elliot Finn and guitarist Vincent Cherry, will join the alternative rock pioneers for all dates on the trans-Tasman run.

The tour will see Pixies perform two consecutive nights in each city. The first night is dedicated to full album performances of Bossanova (1990) and Trompe Le Monde (1991), while the second will offer a broader setlist that spans their full catalogue, including material from their latest album The Night The Zombies Came.

The run kicks off at Fremantle Prison on 8 and 9 November, before heading to Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion (13–14 Nov), Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall (16–17 Nov), and Melbourne’s Festival Hall (19–20 Nov). The tour will then move to Aotearoa, with Auckland Town Hall hosting the band on 23 and 24 November, followed by two nights at Wellington’s St James Theatre on 26 and 27 November. The second Wellington date is already sold out.

For Elliot & Vincent, the tour marks a significant milestone in their rising career. Known for their stripped-back, high-intensity live shows, the pair bring a raw blend of percussion and melody that’s earned them a growing reputation on the New Zealand live circuit. Their support slot with Pixies places them in front of some of the largest crowds of their career to date.

Pixies’ enduring legacy continues more than three decades after Doolittle broke into the UK Top Ten and two decades since their reunion at Coachella. With The Night The Zombies Came, the band remains in a prolific second chapter, with a global fanbase still drawn to their signature mix of melody, abrasion and atmosphere.
