News: Eric Gales Returns to Australia with Blistering Blues Tour This November

Eric Gale

Eric Gales doesn’t just play the blues — he bends it into new shapes, setting it on fire, and walks straight through the flames. Now, the Memphis-born guitar prodigy is bringing that fire back to Australia for a full-blown national tour this November.

Five years sober, creatively supercharged, and riding the wave of his blistering 2021 album Crown, Gales is ready to deliver a tour drenched in soul, soaked in sweat, and shot through with guitar work that feels downright spiritual. Crown — co-produced by blues juggernauts Joe Bonamassa and Josh Smith — debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues Albums chart, snagged Gales’ first Grammy nomination, and earned a place among Guitar World’s Top 20 guitar albums of 2022.

From being a child prodigy at 16 with The Eric Gales Band, to his rebirth as blues’ fiercest survivor, Gales’ story is nothing short of mythic. He picked up a guitar at age four, played like Hendrix by his teens, and has since released 18 genre-smashing records.
