‘Breeze’ feat. Emile Parisien is the new single from French guitarist and vocalist Gabriel Gosse, taken from his upcoming album ‘MOJO’ due for release September 2025. Fuelled by vivid compositions that drift between introspective restraint and flashes of elegant intensity, Gabriel develops his own open and modern twist on traditional jazz. The track follows previous single, “Chill Wind” which was the first new music from Gabriel Gosse since his album ‘Flow’ and subsequent remix EP.

A developed and sought after musician, ‘Breeze’ feat. Emile Parisien features legendary French soprano and alto saxophonist Emile Parisien alongside French songwriter and actor Philippe Katerine. The contemporary jazz sounds from Parisien evoke a lyrical melody, showcasing the virtuoso sounds of the musician. The final form of the track is an ethereal, melancholy modern jazz number with a sharp rhythmic edge channelling underlying Afrobeat influences.

Check it out, below:

Originally from Rouen (Normandy), Gabriel Gosse graduated with a degree in Jazz and Classical guitar before entering the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse (National Conservatory of Music and Dance) in Paris. He studied Jazz and Improvised Music under Riccardo del Fra alongside Pierre Perchaud, Hervé Sellin, Pierre de Bethmann, Glen Ferris and other notable French jazz musicians. Gabriel began playing with Laurent Dehors in 2014, giving him to opportunity to perform alongside Marc Ducret and Michel Portal and to evolve his sound further.

Other live collaborations include the Open Book Quintet, Benzine Franck Vaillant’s group and the indie-pop group Lascaux. More recently, he has played guitar with jazz-fusion group Totem, played drums with electro-swing group Kab, guested with trumpeter Christian Scott and toured with psyche-pop group Moodoïd, singer Philippe Katerine and Eddy de Pretto. These live experiences and appearances have led him to perform at venues and festivals including Paris Philharonie, Théâtre du Châtelet, Duc des Lombards (with Benjamin Henocq), Jazz à la Villette, Triton, Gaité lyrique, Petit Journal Montparnasse, Rendez-Vous de l’Erdre, Sunset, Baiser Salé, Djazz Nevers, Nice Jazz Session, Rouen Opera, Love Supreme Festival (UK), Jazz à Vannes, Avignon Jazz Festival, Jazzébre, Radio France, Django Reinhardt Festival or Archeo Jazz (opening Marcus Miller’s concert).
