News: G Flip Plots 2026 Dream Ride Tour with The Beaches and Ayesha Madon

G Flip

G Flip is heading home. The Melbourne-born multi-instrumentalist and producer has announced a national tour for early 2026, bringing their ambitious Dream Ride project to venues across Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth.

The tour, which runs through February and March, follows the release of Dream Ride, G Flip’s third studio album, out globally via AWAL on 5 September 2025. The record, their most expansive yet, dives headfirst into ‘80s pop textures and punchy, Springsteen-inspired drumwork, all threaded with the kind of candid lyricism that’s become their signature. Singles like Disco Cowgirl, Big Ol’ Hammer, and the latest cut In Another Life signal a shift in tone, but not in authenticity.

Frontier Touring will present the Dream Ride Tour, which kicks off at Brisbane’s Riverstage on 27 February, before making stops at the Hordern Pavilion in Sydney (3 March), Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena (7 March), Adelaide Entertainment Centre Theatre (12 March), and Fremantle Arts Centre (14 March).

Joining G Flip on the road are Toronto’s The Beaches, returning to Australia after their tour here in 2024. After hitting #1 on Alt Radio in Canada for 15 weeks with the breakout hit Blame Brett—and notching over 115 million streams—the four-piece are back with a new record, No Hard Feelings, due in August. Their latest track Touch Myself sees the band doubling down on their brand of sharp-edged pop-rock, mixing punchy choruses with a self-assured attitude.

Opening each night is Ayesha Madon, the actor-turned-songwriter whose magnetic presence has seen her straddle TV, streaming and music media with ease. Her recent single Jenga and performance at Sydney’s Vivid Festival cemented her status as a compelling voice in Australia’s new wave of pop talent.

Tickets go on sale Monday 21 July via Frontier Touring, with presale access available from Thursday 17 July.
