Grammy nominated, multi-platinum selling Tove Lo returns with a brand-new track No One Dies From Love via her own, new label Pretty Swede Records/mtheory. The Swedish, LA-based artist has also announced a return to Australia in September and October for Listen Out Festival.

Co-written with longtime collaborator Ludvig Söderberg, the uplifting disco of ‘No One Dies From Love’ signifies a new and exciting chapter for Tove. Alongside the new release is the launch of her own record label launch with mtheory for Pretty Swede Records, which will see her create an independent platform for her artistry: “I’m a pop girl, but I like to make things weird and be in full control of the whole vision. This is the perfect way to put out exactly what I want,” she says.

The accompanying video for ‘No One Dies From Love’ was filmed on location in Mexico City and directed by Brazilian duo Alaska, whom Tove previously collaborated with on the video for Are U gonna tell her? About the new video, Tove says: “All the songs on the album are very cinematic, dramatic and grand, so for the visual story I wanted to attach a character to each song. For ‘No One Dies From Love’ it’s the classic, vulnerable, lonely starlet looking for connection. This mini movie is a different kind of love story.”

“When you’re with someone for a long time and it ends all of all sudden, it’s like a part of you has died. This person is now a stranger to you. All of the memories are tainted… What I believe I do best is ‘heartbreak you can dance to.’ This song is that.” -Tove Lo

Tove Lo comfortably and innovatively embodies her whole femininity in her music. Freethinking and opinionated, Tove has already left an impression with her darkly catchy pop. She first made waves worldwide with the platinum-certified, 2014 full-length debut, Queen of the Clouds, uplifted by the quintuple-platinum Habits (Stay High) and double-platinum Talking Body. Notable collabs have included Nick Jonas on Close and Flume on Say It. This is in addition to anthems with Alesso, Coldplay, Martin Garrix, Charli XCX, Sean Paul, ALOK and Major Lazer, just to name a few.

Following performances at Governors Ball Festival, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza and Osheaga Music and Arts Festival, Tove Lo will be heading to Australia this September and October for Listen Out. With dates in Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, and Brisbane, she will be bringing all the hits to the stage, as well as some exciting new music. It has been 3 years since the artist was last Downunder, for Front Left Live in Melbourne, and 5 years since Splendour In The Grass.
