Alternative rock band InMe have spent the past few years pouring their blood, sweat and tears into their upcoming new album ‘Demons’. The band’s 8th studio album across a career spanning almost 3 decades, documents the band’s journey of surviving and ultimately conquering personal demons. Frontman Dave McPherson comments,

“Demons is our proudest work, five years in the making.

It was written throughout the darkest years and ultimately celebrates conquering the toughest demons I’ve ever had to face. I’ve been sober and abstinent for a long time now and this album profoundly details the journey of facing severe addiction and mental health issues, my demons. Musically it’s the most collaborative, invigorated and vital as InMe has ever felt and we’re truly the closest and healthiest we’ve ever collectively been. Lyrically I hope this album can help anyone suffering with their own demons, to know they’re not alone, and that they can be defeated and mastered.

Every song means the world to us and I hope that shines through with every listen! With clarity comes a greater understanding of the essence of InMe, and I feel listeners and fans of the old and new will hear our finest work ever here.”

As a fiercely independent band, InMe successfully launched a crowdfunding for ‘Demons’, successfully hitting their target within 36 hours. Now they have shared new single ‘Confession’ to coincide with their upcoming headline UK tour which starts in May, followed by a run supporting Massive Wagons later that month. Dave continues,

“Confession is a deeply personal yet universal song about true change, conquering demons, permanent sobriety & abstinence, love, forgiveness, redemption and ultimately…hope. This album has been five years in the making and we are back, stronger than ever and armed with our proudest music, that is a true labour of love, brimming with blood, sweat and tears. Join us on this exciting new chapter! Your support truly means the absolute world to us.

If we’re not playing near you please know that we hear and love you, there will be many more shows to come this year alongside incredibly exciting stuff! We passionately live and breathe this band to the best we possibly can, let’s all have a blast together!”
