Jebediah will mark three decades as a band with a national headline tour and a series of vinyl reissues, announced today. The Thirty Odyears tour will take place across October and November 2025, with shows confirmed for Adelaide, Hobart, Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra and two hometown dates in Perth.
Formed in Perth in 1995, Jebediah’s original lineup remains intact after thirty years. Their legacy includes six studio albums, two Platinum certifications, multiple ARIA nominations, and a long history of touring alongside acts like Smashing Pumpkins, Jimmy Eat World, and You Am I. In 2023, they were inducted into the WA Music Hall of Fame.
Alongside the tour, the band will reissue a selection of records on vinyl—including Slightly Odway, Of Someday Shambles and their self-titled third album. The Murmur Years will also return via Sony Music, with several titles receiving a vinyl pressing for the first time.
Reflecting on the band’s longevity, frontman Kevin Mitchell says it was never about chasing fame. “We were friends before we were bandmates. The glue that holds it together is the relationships. It’s not held together by success or ambition—otherwise we would have broken up in 2005.”
The upcoming tour promises more than a greatest hits set. “We’ve done a lot of festival shows lately, playing the more obvious songs,” Mitchell says. “This time we’re digging deeper. The idea is to reflect the full span of our history—not just the singles.”
In addition to the live shows and reissues, Jebediah have hinted that a documentary is in the works.
