News: Johnny Majestic Drops Video for New Single ‘EVERYBODY LIKES ME!’

Johnny Majestic releases new visuals for ‘EVERYBODY LIKES ME!’. Showcasing more of Johnny’s blend of glam-rock and alternative-pop, the single is another radiant example of his unique style.

Building a reputation for blending bright synths, pop melodies and hair-metal guitar riffs, Majestic’s signature sound fuses disparate influences into something fresh and modern. The single, packed with witty lyrics, lush vocal harmonies, and powerful choruses, now has a vibrant new video to match its infectious energy.

The music video bursts with retro, home-video aesthetics and playful, hallucinatory visuals, capturing the contrast between the upbeat sound and the song’s themes of inner conflict. With shimmering glamour and faux-confidence, the track is both self-assured and self-aware.

Majestic reflects on the song’s origins, saying, “I wrote and recorded the demo after a night of being a drunken mess—trying to start fights and dealing with a breakup. The song is about embracing that chaos.” His quirky vision even led him to embody a “pink humanoid cat” in the video, a character he feels captures the emotional disarray.

Raised in Prague and now based in Los Angeles, Johnny Majestic draws influence from ‘80s glam rock icons like KISS, Mötley Crüe, and David Bowie. A multi-instrumentalist since childhood, he’s spent years perfecting his unique blend of retro and futuristic styles. With a six-song EP set for release in 2024, Majestic is on the rise, bringing his distinctive, experimental pop to the masses.

Johnny Majestic’s journey continues to gain momentum, with a televised American Idol audition, a quarter-final spot on America’s Next Top Hitmaker, and international tours under his belt.
