Fresh from supporting Belle and Sebastian on their UK tour, Julien Baker has announced a much awaited headline return to the UK and Europe in September. The dates will see the Memphis, Tennessee songwriter play her biggest shows to date, including O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire in London on September 29th, alongside stops in Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin and further European dates. A tour schedule can be found below.

Since its release in October via Matador Records, Julien Baker’s second album Turn Out The Lights has cemented her status as one of today’s most resonant fast-rising singer songwriters, appearing in numerous end of year lists including The New York Times, Pitchfork, The Fader, Noisey and The Line Of Best Fit. The last few months have seen Baker make her US late night television debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, tour North America, Europe, Australia and Japan, surpass 50 million streams on Spotify, be featured in the New York Times’ ‘25 Songs That Tell Us Where Music Is Going’ alongside artists such as Cardi B, SZA, Perfume Genius and Billie Eillish, and start a monthly column for literary magazine Oxford American.

Known for her transfixing, pin-drop intensity performances, the upcoming shows promise to be yet another step Julien Baker’s continued ascendancy in 2018.
