After three decades at the helm of contemporary gospel, Kirk Franklin is finally bringing his electrifying live show to Australasia. The 20-time GRAMMY® Award-winning artist has announced his debut tour of New Zealand and Australia this December.

Kicking off in Christchurch on December 10, The World Tour of Australasia will hit Wellington and Auckland before heading to Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. Known for fusing gospel with hip-hop, R&B, and pop, Franklin’s genre-blurring sound has reshaped the boundaries of spiritual music — and built a global following in the process.

Franklin’s 2023 album Father’s Day earned widespread acclaim and secured his 20th Grammy with the chart-topping single “All Things.” His latest single “Do It Again” continues that momentum, delivering the kind of raw, uplifting power that’s become his signature.

From leading iconic ensembles like The Family and God’s Property to becoming a fixture in the mainstream music world, Franklin’s influence is unrivalled. His shows promise not only music, but a movement — an invitation to joy, community, and catharsis through sound.
