London-based artist WUNDER BETA has released her debut single, ‘Waiting Here’. Blending cinematic pop, Brazilian rhythms, and electronic elements, the track offers a taste of the upcoming EP, Love You To Beats.
‘Waiting Here’ begins with layers of piano and atmospheric synthesisers and the emotive, yet hopeful lead vocals. Ebbing and flowing towards the chorus, the track gradually adds layers of strings, bass and pulsing drums. The song explores themes of human connection through its lyrics and vocal delivery.
Her EP, Love You To Beats, consists of four tracks that combine electronic production with pop and Bossa Nova influences. The EP features organ sounds, classical guitar, and rhythmic elements intended to create a varied listening experience.
“I wrote this EP to take you on a journey of emotions, life stories, and dilemmas punctuated by unique beats,” WUNDER BETA explains. “My lyrics were inspired by our longing to be loved, often feeling lost and lonely, and then finding purpose in the present moment. Sonically, I created a kaleidoscope of electronic sounds woven into my ethereal-dreamy vocals, with nods to my Brazilian Bossa Nova influences.”
