Following the success of this year’s edition, Goremageddon will return on 22 March 2025 at The Star & Garter in Manchester, UK.

Headlining the event will be legendary Japanese goregrind band Viscera Infest, who will also be making their highly anticipated exclusive UK debut. Making headlines in 2017 for the invention of “cockroach moshing,” the band will bring their unique take on extreme, chaotic, and high-speed music to Manchester with full force.

The full line-up revealed today will also include local Manchester gurglers, Pivorapist; southern heavy hitters, Public Execution; partygrind favourites, Vast Slug; three-piece grind powerhouse, Priest Crippler; and one-man Irish gorenoise newcomer, Lymphoedema.

Rancid Offal Promotions, the organisers behind events such as Goremageddon and Offal Fest, said:

“We originally started Goremageddon after we hosted VxPxOxAxAxWxAxMxC at Offal Fest 2023 and seeing how energetic the crowd were for a Goregrind set was absolutely amazing to see and we were desperate to bring that atmosphere back again.

“Goremageddon 2024 drastically exceeded our expectations with an insane crowd response! As our first venture into Goregrind for a show, a genre which has never had quite a large pull in Manchester, we were over the moon with how well-received it was.

“We knew that we needed to go bigger for the next year so we did just that; Bringing Viscera Infest over to headline all the way from Japan is a huge step forward for us at Rancid Offal Promotions and we can both say that we are extremely proud to be bringing them here for their exclusive UK debut performance in Manchester!”
