Track: Marta Shines On New Single ‘Fangirls’

After a whirlwind 2024, including the Eurovision-shortlisted hit ‘Lovable’, Marta is back with a brand-new single ‘Fangirls’. Written as a heartfelt tribute to her devoted fan community, the Martinis, the track celebrates the passionate supporters who attend shows, champion artists, and help make the music industry a thriving, uplifting space.

Bursting with energy, Fangirls delivers an infectious pop punch, blending lively percussion with Marta’s signature smooth and emotive vocals. Her knack for crafting irresistible melodies shines through, pairing groove-driven basslines with earworm hooks that linger long after the track ends.

Reflecting on the inspiration behind the song, Marta shares, “In my nine years as an artist, I’ve never felt this supported, and Fangirls is my way of giving back to the Martinis. Since discovering my music, they’ve truly kept me going. Fangirls, in general, are the backbone of the industry—their passion, dedication, and support mean everything. I hope this track makes them feel seen and appreciated.

This was also my first time working with the incredible female writer-producer duo INK, Marie White and Emily Cox. We wrote and recorded the song together in London, and the whole process was just so fun and wholesome. From the very start, we knew we had something special, and I think that excitement really comes through in the final version.”
