Muloobinba/Newcastle’s dynamic duo, RAAVE TAPES, are set to hit the road this August, celebrating the release of their highly anticipated debut album, which dropped in May. The self-titled album showcases some of their most diverse and creative sounds yet, including singles like ‘I Just Wanna Be Alone’, ‘k hi’, and ‘Braces’, all designed to make listeners move.

We first caught RAAVE TAPES during their opening set at last month’s STUMPS show at Factory Theatre. Their introduction of club-ready indie rock to the crowd was something special, and it’s easy to see how fans will react to a full set across multiple shows on the upcoming tour – it’s bloody exciting.

Starting in Eora/Sydney, the tour will take RAAVE TAPES to some of Australia’s most beloved venues, promising a special new show that highlights the dynamic nature of their album. “Releasing an album has been a monumental moment for us & we can’t wait to celebrate it with all of our friends,” the duo shared. “This record was made for the dancefloor & holding your loved ones tight. Let’s party rock.“

Known for their vibrant performances and unique sound, RAAVE TAPES have carved a niche in both club scenes and festival stages, amassing over 80k streams and a growing loyal fanbase. The positive reception of their debut album earlier this year has cemented their place in the alt-pop landscape, showcasing their fresh influences and creativity.
