Myles Kennedy first came to the public’s attention as vocalist and guitarist for the Mayfield Four in the 90s, before joining forces with former members of Creed to form Alter Bridge in 2004, for whom he still provides lead vocals and rhythm guitar. In addition to this, he has worked extensively with Guns N Roses lead guitarist and noted top hat enthusiast Slash, initially as one of several guest vocalists on Slash’s self-titled 2009 debut album, then as the lead vocalist of both his backing band Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators. This band has released two albums and played several extensive live tours.
Kennedy’s solo album Year of the Tiger marks a departure from his previous works with influences including blues, Americana, and country. It will be released on March 9th.
