Grimsby Town’s own rising solo artist, No Cash Refunds releases the vibrant new single ‘Don’t Think Twice’. A warming bedroom-pop summer anthem, the single capturing the essence of youthful defiance and nostalgic warmth.

Produced by the acclaimed Dom Anca, known for the viral hit ‘she likes a boy’ by Nxdia, ‘Don’t Think Twice’ masterfully blends pop, alternative, and hip-hop influences to create a sound that is both fresh and evocative. The song delves into themes of seizing the moment, emotional vulnerability, and the passage of time, all conveyed through genuine and straightforward lyrics.

‘Don’t Think Twice’ is an optimistic track with a nostalgic vibe, embodying No Cash Refunds’ journey towards authentic self-expression. The lyrics, which explore the complexities of life, relationships, and self-discovery, reflect the distinctive voice and artistic vision of the project. He describes the song as “a reflection on youthful defiance and the bittersweet passage of time.”

No Cash Refunds, known offstage as Charlie, is a charismatic and flamboyant performer, renowned for his vocal range and eccentric movements, always clad in his iconic suit and glasses. His style is reminiscent of legends like Jarvis Cocker of Pulp and Damon Albarn of Blur. His music is bold, cheeky, and intimate, with each song offering a unique sound while maintaining a consistent and distinctive style and original lyrical themes.

At just 21, Charlie has already achieved significant milestones in his music career. His previous releases have received airplay on BBC Radio 1 and secured spots on Spotify’s Editorial Playlists, including New Music Friday and Our Generation. His energetic live performances have seen him headline at Electrical Nights in the Electric Theatre, Guildford, and share stages with notable artists like Billie-Angela, Coupdekat, and Coco Vieno. No Cash Refunds has also opened for Charlotte Plank and hosted events for Dellaxoz & Elphi at Club Gunk. The growing buzz around his work has drawn significant interest from major record labels as he continues to build momentum.

‘Don’t Think Twice’ is set to be a defining track for No Cash Refunds, showcasing his unique blend of musical influences and his ability to craft songs that resonate deeply with listeners.
