Japanese rock outfit ONE OK ROCK will return to Australia in 2026 for their largest national tour to date. The three-date run, in support of their eleventh studio album DETOX, will see the band perform in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane next March, with support from Australian pop-punk group Stand Atlantic.

The tour begins at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena on Thursday 12 March, followed by Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion on Saturday 14 March, and finishes at Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall on Sunday 15 March.

Formed in the mid-2000s, ONE OK ROCK rose quickly from local stages to stadiums across Japan, before reaching a wider international audience with their 2012 single The Beginning. Their sound blends alternative rock with pop, emo, and electronic elements, and they’ve released eleven albums to date, including DETOX, which features recent single Tropical Therapy.

Their global following has been fuelled by consistent touring, from festival appearances at Knotfest and Vans Warped Tour to stadium shows supporting Linkin Park, Ed Sheeran, and Muse. Their most recent North American leg of the DETOX tour sold out across the continent, following a world tour that drew close to 190,000 fans in 2024.

This upcoming Australian tour follows a string of past successes on local soil. In 2020, their Melbourne show at The Forum sold out within eight hours, while their previous Australian tour in 2017 sold out entirely within hours of going on sale.

Joining them on the DETOX tour is Sydney’s Stand Atlantic, whose 2024 album Was Here debuted at #3 on the ARIA Albums Chart. Known for energetic live shows and a dedicated fanbase, Stand Atlantic have built a solid reputation with consistent support from triple j, BBC Radio 1, and recent tours alongside A Day To Remember and I Prevail.

With both acts known for high-energy performances and strong fan engagement, the DETOX Australian tour offers a focused look at the evolving international influence of Japanese and Australian alternative rock.
