Paradise Circus share the ethereal, breezy indie stunner ‘Fly’, an elegant blend of indie tendencies with subtle mods to chillout and electronica.

Blurring the boundaries between its guitar led vibrancy and expansive, atmospheric production, ‘Fly’ balances the band’s bright guitar tones with swelling synths. The song’s ever-changing textures will lift your spirits and draw you in, while the playful drums, powerful backing vocals, and grooving bass lines showcase Paradise Circus’s immersive musical depth.

Formed in 2019, Paradise Circus has quickly become a household name in Birmingham’s vibrant music scene. Comprising of David Purchase on vocals, Callum Cartwright on guitar, Sam Allen on bass, Nathan Shingler on drums, and Peter Donnelly on keys, this electrifying five-piece band combines a tidal wave of energy with unmatched intricacy, offering a refreshing glimpse into the future of indie rock. Their impressive live performances alongside Candid and the Native have garnered widespread acclaim, leaving audiences in awe throughout the country. Notably, the band has also earned recognition from influential tastemakers such as NME and BBC Introducing.

The production quality of Paradise Circus’s music is a testament to the collaboration of renowned industry professionals. Recording engineer Chris D’adda (known for his work with The 1975 and Kodaline), mixing engineer John Catlin (responsible for The Killers, Circa Waves, and Inhaler), and mastering engineer John Davis (whose credits include Gorillaz, Dua Lipa, and U2) have meticulously crafted a rich and immersive sound that deserves high praise and attention. With their ever-expanding fan base and irresistible music, the future holds boundless possibilities for Paradise Circus.

Speaking further about the track, they explain: “The song came from our drummer Nathan who had the song fully written in his head which he had done a week after his grandad had passed. It reflected on the feelings he had for him in the lyrics “Take me up, Lead me in, Beyond the clouds, Your life begins” and “Teach me how to FLY”. It also includes life advice from his grandad stating “Impossible is possible if you try.”
