Robyn has never really left, but 2026 is shaping up to feel like a full-body return.

The generational pop icon today announces The Sexistential Tour, a 20-date global arena run across Europe, North America and Australia, marking her first major tour since 2019 and her biggest headline shows to date. Highlights include London’s 20,000-capacity O2 Arena and three consecutive hometown nights at Stockholm’s Avicii Arena, a victory lap that doubles as a statement of intent.

The tour arrives as Robyn sits squarely in the eye of one of pop’s most celebrated comebacks. Sexistential, her ninth studio album and first since 2018’s Honey, reunites her with longtime collaborator Klas Åhlund and, crucially, Max Martin for their first co-writes together since 2010. The result is described as her most ecstatic record yet, not a reinvention so much as a homecoming, sharpening the emotional clarity and physical urgency that have always defined her work. Backseat Mafia recently reviewed Robyn’s latest single favourably.

True to form, the live iteration of Sexistential looks outward as much as inward. Robyn’s choice of support acts across the tour reads like a curated map of her creative orbit and influences. European and UK dates will feature Erika de Casier, Smerz, 808 State, Saya Gray, Mechatok, Romy, Zhala and Becky and the Birds, while North American shows spotlight Nourished By Time, Peaches, Grace Ives, Lykke Li, horsegiirl and more. It’s a lineup that frames Robyn not just as a headliner, but as a connective force between generations of pop’s more adventurous voices.

Anticipation has been steadily building through a string of high-profile appearances that underline her cultural omnipresence. From performing with David Byrne for Saturday Night Live’s 50th anniversary to ringing in the New Year on CNN with Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen, from a standout Late Show performance to New York City New Year’s Eve headlines, Robyn has spent the past year reminding audiences how elastic pop stardom can be. Add recent collaborations with Charli xcx, Gracie Abrams and Yung Lean, a rework of Brat’s “360,” soundtracking Acne Studios’ Paris show and an upcoming run supporting Harry Styles in Amsterdam, and the picture sharpens: Robyn isn’t chasing relevance, she’s quietly defining it again.
