Australia’s genre-blurring juggernaut, Spilt Milk, is officially back for 2025, with dates now locked for four massive cities across the country this December. Known for its stellar lineups and immersive festival experience, Spilt Milk continues to cement its place as one of the premier live music events on the Australian calendar.

This year’s run kicks off at Ballarat/Wadawurrung’s Victoria Park on Saturday 6 December, before heading west for its sophomore edition in Perth/Whadjuk at Claremont Showground on Sunday 7 December. The following weekend, the travelling festival returns to its spiritual home of Canberra/Ngunnawal, taking over Exhibition Park on Saturday 13 December, before wrapping up at the Gold Coast/Kombumerri’s Sports Precinct on Sunday 14 December.

With previous editions boasting the likes of Post Malone, Lorde, Flume, Steve Lacy, FISHER and Peach PRC, Spilt Milk has built a reputation for curating forward-thinking, genre-crossing lineups that reflect both the global zeitgeist and Australia’s evolving music landscape. While the 2025 roster remains under wraps, anticipation is already running high – and based on history, tickets are expected to vanish quickly once they drop.

But Spilt Milk’s appeal goes well beyond the music. The festival doubles as a playground of creative chaos, with signature attractions like Guilty Pleasures (a belter’s paradise of iconic singalongs), the boot-scootin’ Howdy Howdy country bar, and the mobile madness of Bus Da Move. Past editions have featured everything from the Smirnoff-backed rave cave to Colombian sound system culture via El Gran Mono.

The festival’s commitment to inclusive and impactful art continues in 2025, with a program curated in partnership with Studio A — an arts organisation supporting creatives with disability — and Create Connect Art, a Victoria Park-based initiative offering accessible open studio sessions across multiple mediums.

The full artist lineup for Spilt Milk 2025 is expected soon, head here to sign-up for further information.
