News: Stereophonics Plot Return to Australia with Career-Spanning 2025 Tour

It’s been six years since Stereophonics last graced Australian stages—but in 2025, the Welsh rock stalwarts will finally return, bringing with them a career-spanning setlist and the swagger that only three decades in the game can buy.

The Australia Spring Tour 2025 marks their biggest-ever run down under, with stops at Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion (Fri Oct 17), Brisbane’s Fortitude Music Hall (Sat Oct 18), Melbourne’s Palais Theatre (Mon Oct 20), and a dramatic finale at Fremantle Prison (Sat Oct 25). It’s a tight four-date sprint through the country, but expect nothing short of anthemic choruses and packed houses.

Off the back of their thirteenth studio album, Make ‘em Laugh, Make ‘em Cry, Make ‘em Wait—a punchy, no-filler record that leans into the emotional whiplash of the modern age—Stereophonics are in no mood to play it safe.

This Australian run is just one leg of an international juggernaut tour that will see the band play to over 600,000 fans worldwide—including two sold-out nights at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium. With over 10 million albums sold, 1.5 billion streams, a BRIT Award, and a back catalogue stacked with UK Top 10s, the stats speak volumes—but it’s their unshakable connection with fans that truly sets Stereophonics apart.

Expect the hits: Dakota, Maybe Tomorrow, Have A Nice Day, Bartender and the Thief. Expect deep cuts for the faithful. And above all, expect a band still burning with purpose, reminding us why they’ve earned their place among the greats—without ever slipping into nostalgia.

Tickets go on sale Thursday June 19 at 12pm (local time).
