Stockton Calling, one of Teesside’s best-loved multi-venue music festivals, makes a long- awaited return to the heart of Stockton on Saturday 16 April 2022. After an enforced break since the last event in 2019, venues across the town centre will once again host stellar headliners and some of the most exciting national emerging artists, alongside the very best of regional acts.  Headliners including indie rockers The Pigeon Detectives, pints-in-the-air band The Reytons, and experimental pop sensation Self Esteem will appear alongside top emerging artists The Let Go, Courting, English Teacher, Swim School and Bigfatbig.

Fans of the burgeoning north east music scene will also be delighted to see acts such as Dylan Cartlidge, Jodie Nicholson, Luke Royalty, Michael Gallagher, Mt. Misery, Pit Pony and ZELA on the bill.

With over 80 acts across eleven stages, Stockton Calling has carved its own niche for music lovers in the north east by working with successful local music promoters to provide an exciting massively diverse range of bands to over 2,000 passionate music fans every year.

Chris Cobian of Tees Music Alliance, one of the festival’s organisers, said:

“It’s a wonderful feeling to be back offering such a high quality and eclectic line up after 2 years away – and we hope our loyal audience will continue to support this amazing event on the local music calendar. As organisers, we’re immensely proud of the programme, and the big day can’t come soon enough for us.”

Jimmy Beck of KU Promotions, also one of the festival’s organisers said:

“We cannot wait to welcome everyone in a few months time to Stockton Calling! We are elated to say that after we had to abandon 2020 and all the hard work we have put into trying to reschedule over the last 2 years, the whole team have worked their socks off to make 2022 the biggest and best yet and that’s exactly what you’re getting.”

The full-line up for Stockton Calling can be found on the festival’s website and social media platforms (@StocktonCalling).
Tickets for Stockton Calling can be purchased from www.stocktoncalling.co.uk or via ARC
Stockton’s Box Office on 01642 525199.
