News: Sycco Invites Us Into The ‘Zorb’ Announcing National Tour Following Debut Album

Fresh off the release of her debut album ‘Zorb’ in August, Sycco is taking her electrifying live show on the road for her first headline tour since 2022. The 23-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer is set to bring her unmistakable energy to Naarm/Melbourne, Eora/Sydney, Meanjin/Brisbane, and Tarntanya/Adelaide in early 2025, giving fans the chance to experience ‘Zorb’ in full force.

Zorb isn’t just an album title—it’s a concept. According to Sycco, ‘Zorb’ is “… the transparent spherical (metaphorical) globe that surrounds human beings when they share a deep connection. To join a zorb is to be present with another person or group of people in order to reach a deeper level of understanding with each other. It is a place of safety and connection.” That feeling of connection runs through the entire album, and it’s something Sycco is bringing to life on stage with her In The Zorb tour.

After a breakout year that will soon include festival sets alongside artists like Glass Animals and Troye Sivan, Sycco (Sash McLeod) is ready to deliver a series of shows that dive deep into the kaleidoscopic sounds of her debut album. Expect everything from psychedelic rock grooves to hyperpop-infused beats, with Sycco’s signature charm pulling it all together. She’s been praised for her ability to push the boundaries of genre, and now fans get to experience it live.

With ‘Zorb’ earning rave reviews, this tour feels like a natural next step for Sycco, who co-wrote and co-produced every track. The album’s collaborators, including Flume, Mallrat, and Chrome Sparks, helped shape its adventurous sound, but the heart of ‘Zorb’ is pure Sycco—vibrant, unpredictable, and undeniably fresh.

From producing music in their teenage bedroom to racking up over 60 million streams and sharing stages with Tame Impala, Sycco has quickly become one of Australia’s most exciting artists. The tour kicks off in January, so there’s plenty of time to get tickets and be part of what promises to be a mind-bending, unforgettable run of shows. Sycco’s live performances have already been hailed for their energy and originality, and this tour will be the full ‘Zorb’ experience.

‘In The Zorb’ 2025 Tour Dates:
Friday, 24 January: The Corner Hotel, Naarm/Melbourne
Saturday, 25 January: Oxford Art Factory, Eora/Sydney
Friday, 31 January: The Triffid, Meanjin/Brisbane
Saturday, 1 February: Jive, Tarntanya/Adelaide
