Oh, 2007 was a year. Especially for The Enemy, who blasted out of Coventry to become one of the biggest new bands in the country, with their debut album ‘We’ll live and die in these towns’ going straight to number one, and be certified platinum.

Across another two top ten albums, a couple of top ten singles, and shows with the likes of The Rolling Stones, The Sex Pistols, Oasis, The Killers, Kasabian, Manic Street Preachers and Sterophonics, the band became of the the biggest draws around. With the 15th anniversary of that debut album just around the corner, the band – still in its original format – Tom Clarke (vocals/guitar), Andy Hopkins (bass) and Liam Watts (drums) – have announced a major reunion tour, offering fans the first chance to see the band since 2016.

The Enemy commented, “2022 marks the 15th anniversary of ‘We’ll Live And Die In These Towns’ and six years since we all played together. Over the last decade-and-a-half we’ve watched fans begin to really treasure those songs and we’re asked on an almost daily basis if there is any chance of the three of us getting back on stage together, so we know how much this will mean to the fans. What we weren’t expecting was quite how excited we would all be to play together again. There’s a lot of anticipation and excitement from the three of us to go out and play, just us, the songs and the fans. We really can’t wait!”

In the meantime, bask in the brilliant of Had Enough, check the dates and buy your tickets as soon as you can. Tickets for all shows except for Coventry go on general sale here from 10am on Friday, November 5th. The tour features special guests ( and the equally brilliant) Little Man Tate (all shows except for Sheffield, Cardiff and Norwich) and Wide Eyed Boy.
