News: The Prodigy Announce 2025 Australian Tour with Major Stops in Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne

The Prodigy have formally announced their return to Australia in February 2025. This tour is presented by Astral People, Handsome Tours, and Double J. The Prodigy will be performing at three prestigious venues: Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion, Brisbane’s Riverstage, and Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena.

Pre-sale tickets will be available from Tuesday, 27 August, at 11:00 AM local time, with general ticket sales commencing on Friday, 30 August, at 11:00 AM local time.

Returning to Australia five years after the devastating loss of Keith Flint, The Prodigy’s imminent tour feels like both a battle cry and a requiem. Flint’s death cast a shadow over the band’s legacy, coming just weeks after their last tour down under, a tour that felt, in hindsight, like a farewell we didn’t know we were witnessing. Now, with seven albums that have scorched their way into the annals of music history, The Prodigy are poised to reclaim their throne as one of the world’s most ferocious live acts.

The Prodigy—Liam Howlett, Keith Flint, and Maxim—have etched their names into the music industry’s granite, shaping and reshaping the landscape over three relentless decades. Dubbed the “Godfathers of Rave,” they’ve been architects of the big beat genre, stitching together rave, techno, and industrial into a sound that’s as much a rebellion as it is a revolution. Their debut, Experience (1992), announced them to the world, but it was Music for the Jilted Generation (1994) that truly defined their defiant ethos. By the time The Fat of the Land (1997) dropped, with anthems like ‘Firestarter’ and ‘Breathe,’ The Prodigy had become more than a band—they were a movement, a loud, unapologetic, and incendiary force that demanded to be heard.
