Wanderer Festival returns to the Sapphire Coast on 4–5 October 2025 with another genre-spanning lineup that brings together festival favourites, cult icons, and thrilling new voices from around the world.

Saturday Music Highlights
Saturday night sets the tone with a shimmering blend of emotion, nostalgia, and high energy. Missy Higgins, a beloved staple of Australian music, brings her rich back catalogue and unmistakable voice to the main stage. Saint Motel (USA) follow with a vibrant blend of Californian flair and brit-indie sparkle, while Hockey Dad delivers a hit of surf-garage-rock laced with ‘90s punk grit. Festival favourites Magic Dirt return with frontwoman Adalita — a singular presence in Australian alt-rock — while rising Dutch producer Lavern (NL) flies in with slick DJ chops and a growing global following, bringing his lush, streaming-era sound to the festival grounds.

Sunday Music Highlights
On Sunday night, The Living End bring things to a thunderous close with their signature high-octane show. The day’s lineup is equally rich: Boy & Bear soothe with their anthemic folk-rock, while Jacob Banks (UK) blends soul, gospel, R&B, and blues into something deeply personal and powerful. French chillwave multi-instrumentalist Petit Biscuit (FR) layers electronic textures into cinematic crescendos, and Cut Copy (DJ set) keep the dance floor buzzing with their iconic synth-pop-meets-electro sound. And if you’re craving grit and heart, Nikki Lane (USA) comes armed with outlaw country fire and fiercely unapologetic lyricism.

Across the Weekend
Also on the bill: Emma Donovan, Grace Cummings, Folk Bitch Trio, Pierce Brothers, The Vanns, Bec Sandridge, O and the Mo (NZ), Dug (IRL), and many more, offering a sonic spectrum that runs from raw folk to indie pop to late-night dance floor bangers.

Beyond the music, Wanderer’s celebrated arts program returns in full colour — featuring performance art, circus, interactive installations, and community experiences. From Circus Trip Tease and Sam’s Caravan, to yoga, costume salons, and the Bega Sound Collective Morning Dance Party, this is as much about creative expression as it is about live music. The weekend begins with a Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremony by the Duurunu Miru Dancers, grounding the event in place and spirit.

Wanderer 2025 offers not just a stellar music and arts program, but a powerful sense of belonging — a reminder that festivals can still be intimate, curated, and deeply connected to place.
