After we interviewed Gary Abram last month, we have the great pleasure of premiering the video for his debut track, ‘Distressed Angel Ensemble’. This gorgeous duet features two beautiful opposing voices over gentle, flowing music that echoes the lyrical content. Becoming almost spiritual as the track builds to a captivating cadence. ‘Distressed Angel Ensemble’ is one hell of an accomplished debut with an intriguing and thought provoking video.

“A fusion of Rock and Classical music drenched in R&B Soul. This version extends the story of Distressed Angel. ABRAM takes you on a rollercoaster musical journey. The storyline documents the struggling relationship between a prayer and her own personal Angel. Angel hasn’t been around of late, preoccupied with an ever increasing workload from a chaotic and demanding world.
A duet of rolling verses documents the pairs conversation , both getting increasingly frustrated with each other. At times you can hear the desperation in the Prayers voice compared to the sometimes dismissive sounding and overworked Angel.
Something has to blow, and it does!
A searing dark but beautiful section builds and builds, Choirs rise and swell as the strings, piano, Hammond organ, guitars and operatic vocals document the duos struggling journey.
The song resolves with an outro of peace, love and tranquility. Or is it pain, regret and tragedy?……. Only you can decide.”
